Every honest commentator on Biblical prophecy has always remarked on the fact that “...the United States of America is never explicitly mentioned in the Bible, and...[in] no Biblical prophecies...”
“Christian Nationalists,” of course, are not honest commentators. But even sane Americans have to marvel that America: the world's richest, most powerful, culturally-dominant, well-respected nation and sometime champion of GOOD for the last century: is evidently not even a bit-player in God's prophetic plan.
HOW CAN THAT BE !?!?
Commentators on prophecy I've read over the last 60 years usually posit that at the end-times America will NOT be the richest and most powerful nation in the world: and they make various guesses how that could happen. Some have imagined America might have been destroyed in a nuclear war...or taken over by Communists...or turned against Israel and come under God's curse.
The guesses, in other words, focus on whatever each guesser thinks made America great.
But God says RIGHTEOUSNESS makes a nation great (Proverbs 14:34).
In America today, we don't have to look too far into the future to foresee an America that's no longer the world's richest, most powerful, and well-respected nation.
Our current “leader,” who contradicted God and deceived a majority of voters that HE would “Make America Great Again,” has fulfilled Jesus' prophecy: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy...” (John 10:10). No righteousness there.
And after the thief has done all that Jesus said he would... ? That would be my guess why America is not even a bit-player in God's future plans.
